Welcome to another edition of my Friday Mixtape. After weeks of late postings, screwed up links, and errors that cause posts to disappear (last week), I’m hoping that this week’s mixtape goes up as scheduled, without any hitches. If, in fact, you’re reading this on Friday- I’ve suceeded.
While I’ve been relatively unimpressed with the mixtapes this year so far, I’m well pleased with this one. There ‘s the track from AG Silver that was sent this week, and I’m totally diggin’ on. There’s also an awesome new colab between Switchfoot frontman Jon Foreman and Nickel Creek guitarist Sean Watkins called Family Fiction that I’m big on at the moment. A friend pointed out the track from Matt Wertz to me this week, and that it had over a million listens on myspace- that’s pretty impressive. Also, I had to add the new Pete Yorn track from Heather Browne’s Fuel/Friends blog, as I’ve listened to it tons this week. Oh, and before I go, check out Angel Taylor- she’s touring with Adele right now, and playing Eddie’s Attic here in ATL next Friday.
