Friday Mixtape Volume 116

Alrighty, this week's mixtape is a bit of a rush-job, as I've been terribly busy this week, and am busy again tonight, so I don't have too much time to write. First, I'd like to point out some new material from Travis, QOTSA, and CAKE. Next, my favorite Aussie chanteuse, Missy Higgins is due to release her sophomore album lately, and it's been too long since I've heard her singing on my mixtape. I'm totally in love with the woman, and love about anything she's ever done, but let me know what you think of it in the comments. Brett Dennon makes another appearance on the SFFM with his newest, and then there are some new outfits: The Kissing Trail, Wax Tailor (very cool) and The Twilight Sad for ya. Rounding out the mixtape are tracks from artists playing tonight at the Roxy in Buckhead under the VH1 "You Oughta Know" banner: Rocco Deluca, The Feeling (!), and Mat Kearney. That's it, that's all….enjoy your weekend, enjoy the mixtape. I'll try to be more productive next week.
