New Radiohead Album Release in Just Ten Days

So, the big news of the weekend is that Radiohead have announced the completion of their new album, and plan to unleash it in just 10 days. Titled In Rainbows, the album is available in two formats: a digital download or a boxed set with a cd, two 12-inch heavyweight vinyl records, a bonus cd with more new songs, digital photographs and artwork. The discbox also includes artwork and lyric booklets (pictured, above). Great news, if you like Radiohead.
The nifty thing here is that preorders are now being taken at www.inrainbows.com, and the digital download is avaiable at a cost determined by the purchaser. Yeah, "it's up to you", says the site. You can enter any amount you like, including $0.00. The enormous cult-like fanbase of the band pretty much ensures that they'll make lots of money off this. It will be interesting to see how it all works out.
