I hope everyone had a great Halloween this week, and enjoyed the H2K mixtape. It’s been a pretty busy week for me, and I am completely ready for a weekend! With the pub closed, I’ll be watching the weekend’s football matches at a new place: Kayson’s Grille, who are opening early for the English league match between Man U and Arsenal (8:30 am). I’m posting direct links to the individual tracks this week- as a continuation of the experiment begun in the Halloween Mixtape. The idea behind putting the mixtape into one file was that people would download the indie/unknown artists with bigger artists, and get to listen to new stuff. So, I hope people continue to try out new artists posted in the mixtape. I’ll be keeping an eye on the downloads to make sure that things stay in balance, and that those pesky mp3 search engines stay away.
joiseyshowaa captured this high-flying amusement ride at the “magic hour” to get the natural gradient of the sky just right. Carnival was the theme of this week’s flickr search because a co-worker’s little girl will be celebrating her birthday this weekend with a carnival party. Happy Birthday Dylan!
