Wow, the weather the past couple of days has been fantastic, and I had the pleasure of getting out last night to play soccer for acouple of hours. This morning, however, my feet were killing. I spent some time today driving to various music outlets in Atlanta, trying to play as many different drum electronic kits as possible- to get a feel for what I might want in one. It’s been a decade at least since I really played a kit- living in apartments and with roommates is not condusive to playing drums (or vice versa). So, “drummer” was the keyword that lead me to this week’s image of a old guy playing kit in a club in London. I liked the old-school film look of it, and the expression on the guy’s face is great.
Anyhow- I’ve got lots of music in this week’s mixtape for y’all! New stuff from Lily Allen, Weezer and Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip along with a cover duet from Feist and Constantines.
