I got an email release the other day that started:
“The members of Sacramento/Davis-based band Buildings Breeding understand that times are tough. With the economy pressing hard on music-lovers everywhere, the band has decided to release its second full-length for free online-only.”
I thought that was really nice of them. Download it from their website, www.buildingsbreeding.com, starting today. It’s a 13 tracks- which I’d call an album, but they call an EP- full of the Sacramento, California band’s airy, light pop music. The band started as a mock myspace page that singer/songwriter Chris Larsen used to post love songs for his girlfriend Melanie Glover while she was overseas. Later, they added musicians, including Glover, and the real Buildings Breeding was born. It’s good stuff, and I’m diggin’ the artwork too.
