Cheers!

The show’s theme song, Where Everybody Knows Your Name was instantly memorable, and has an interesting story behind it. The song was written by Gary Portnoy and Judy Hart Angelo, and it’s history is detailed on Portnoy’s site, with audio of various versions leading up to the now familiar television theme.

Read it on Gary Portnoy’s website
