When I first started putting this week’s mix together, I was stumped to find anything i really liked. It’s been a slow week for me (musically), and nothing was really all that appealing to me. Then, it started. New stuff from the Decemberists in my inbox! At just that moment, a song was playing on TV which caught my ear. Turns out to be the brother of Welsh singer Jem. From there, things magically started to fall into place. Source after source, track by track, the mix came together. So now, I can present to you the whole bunchload of music that is SFFMv303.
My appologies to anyone who tried to download last week’s mix, and was met with a 404, “does not exist”, or other disparaging message. My mental capacity must have been greatly diminished, as it turns out I had forgotten to upload ANY of the files to the server. Doh. Thanks for the messages though (Matt and Anthony). I’ll try not to do things that way from now on. I’m leaving the links and files on the server for the rest of the week, if anyone still wants the mixtape.
