Friday Mixtape Volume 446

Friday Mixtape Volume 446I know, I know. This is a blog, not just a mixtape posting place. I should post on days that don’t start with “F”. I’ll get back to it, eventually. Until then, be glad I’m still keeping up with the SFFM. Nearly five years worth now.

Friday Mixtape Volume 445

Friday Mixtape Volume 445Winter weather in Atlanta this weekend? The meteorologists at weather.com say it’ll be in the mid-30′s overnights this weekend. That’s winter to me. And just last week I was driving with the top down. Do you think that movie “The Day Before Tomorrow” had the right idea? If the world were to end, would you prefer it to go by over heating, or freezing? Enough rambling. Music:

Friday Mixtape Volume 444

Friday Mixtape Volume 444So, Halloween is finally upon us. Time for little kids to dress up, knock on doors, and make their dentists’ day. Really. When I was a kid, I loved Halloween. I used to plan my costumes a month ahead, and spend night dreaming up bigger, better and more elaborate costumes. And even though Halloween is mostly for the kids, adults get to enjoy it too. This morning, I read this article about a guy who made his three year-old a custom RoboCop costume. While I’m sure the kid is gonna have a great Halloween, I know his dad had a great time making it, and will enjoy watching his son having fun in it even more. And, if you’re not too stuffy to admit you like it, adults can dress up too. If you do, please, use some creativity instead of going to your nearest costume shop and getting another “Sexy fill-in-the-blank” kit. k?

Happy Halloween! Below is an eclectic mix of track I plucked from the strosphere in quite a random fashion:
