L-Ho Invades The Stage

Lindsay Lohan, a.k.a. L-Lo, a.k.a. L-Ho decided to invade the stage last night at LA’s Wiltern Theater during Lily Allen’s performance of Britney Spears’ Womanizer. That’s got to be a trifecta of something. Anyway, she doesn’t really sing, or dance, or do anything beside just grab the spotlight for half a second.

Lily’s looking real cute with the short hair, and I dig that her shorts are so small, the in-ears pack won’t stay in place.

Andre 3000 Arrested for 109 MPH in His Porche

andre3000_mugshot

Andre Benjamin, better known as Andre 3000, was arrested south of Atlanta early Saturday after being clocked going 109 MPH in a 65 MPH zone- like anyone in Atlanta actually drives 65 on the freeways. Seriously, Andre, you drive a 2007 Porche Carrera, and you were only doing 109? My Jetta goes 120 on I-285 easliy.

Lily’s Beef With The New York Times

Lily Allen give NYT an interview, and they send a photog out to take some snaps with her in her home. Those snaps get sold to tabloid rag OK! magazine, who touts them as “World Exclusive, At home with Lily Allen”. It’s actually fairly common practice, but a bit below NYT in my opinion, and Lily’s too.

She posted a blog about it today- and it’s pretty well argued as well. No random asides in this post, just the facts from her point of view. She closes with: “The world has become a dark place when The New York Times considers OK magazine to be ‘the news business’. Sorry if that made for tedious reading but, I think the NYT have behaved really badly and I wanted to vent .

Ben Folds Expands the Way To Normal

Ben Folds has expanded Way To Normal into a 2-disc set, which he is giving awayto current members of his fan club, and anyone who signs up by Feb. 15th (tomorrow, last minute, I know).

Way To Normal: Stems and Seeds is a re-mix, remastered, re-leveling version of the album that was  intentionally compressed for maximum volume. The site describes the set:

And so we have “Way To Normal: Stems and Seeds” – two disks. One disk is a remix, remaster, re-sequence of “Way To Normal” along with the now legendary (in our own minds) ‘fake’ tracks, the Japanese version of “Hiroshima”, the Conan Rehearsal of “You Don’t Know Me” and the Piano Orchestra version of “Cologne” – a total of 20 tracks.

Sign up for The Poeple’s Front of Judea (the fanclub) for $30 to get the set, if you’re not already a member, which a fan who wants the remastered version should be anyhow.

Coldplay to be Stalked at Grammys

Apparently, lawyers for Joe Satriani are going to stalk Coldplay at the Grammys in an attempt to serve them legal papers.

Satriani’s lawyer says, “We have warned their British lawyers that we have hired a fleet of process servers lined up to dog the band everywhere they go this weekend in the hopes of serving them.
