The venue was an interesting choice, but really worked well- the chandeliers in the gymnasium-like auditorium adding to the atmosphere. Free show + open bar + enthusiastic fans = great show.

Opener Jay Electronica was great, Big Boi absolutely killed with his hometown crowd- doing tracks from his upcoming solo album and Outkast classics. Pics and some video w/ poor audio below…

Anyway, she doesn’t really sing, or dance, or do anything beside just grab the spotlight for half a second.

Lily’s looking real cute with the short hair, and I dig that her shorts are so small, the in-ears pack won’t stay in place.

Cloud Cult were pretty amazing last night. I was a new experience to watch visual artist Connie Minowa work on stage while listening to her husband and band perform. It felt good, watching a band that does so much for environmental causes on Earth Day.
