Whew…so many things going on today…it's hard to know where to start, so I'm going to go chronologically:
NOW: new music!
Well, actually today's new releases of note are mostly sorta-new releases, as several of them have been out in the UK for a minute now.
| Goldfrapp - Supernature | |
| There's just something about Alison Goldfrapp's airy vocals that appeals to me. Lying somewhere between Annie and Imogen Heap, Goldfrapp is catchy and poppy, but always tinged with a hint of melancholy.

| Corinne Bailey Rae - Like A Star (Single) | |
| Corinne Bailey Rae makes a stab at the US market by releasing this three-track single version of Like A Star- the song that really pushed her into the spotlight in the UK. Bailey Rae's smokey vocals and heartaching inflection give this song it's power to melt first-time listeners within just seconds of hearing it.

| Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan - Ballad Of The Broken Seas | |
Campbell & Lanegan - Ramblin' Man |
|
…other stuff:
| Matisyahu - Youth from Youth |
| Rhymefest - Dynomite (Going Postal) (Single) |
| Coldcut - Everything Is Under Control from Sound Mirrors |
| Neko Case - Hold On, Hold On from Fox Confessor Brings the Flood |
Honestly, other tan the US releases of albums already out, there isn't much in new releases today.
