Weekend Catch-Up / Blog Regifting

First off, Guster on Friday night was great. The boys still put on a great show, goofing with the audience and all. What wasn't cool was Ray LaMontagne's performance. The guy walked onto the stage, plugged in, and started playing. He said nothing throughout the entire show, and did little more anything but just play through each song. They may as well have plugged in a CD player, and given the guy the night off. Seriously, Ray, it's your job- people pay good money to come see you- give them a show, or go work in a shoe store.
UPDATE: Mel tells me this mornin that Ray has been taken OFF the rest of the Guster tour!
It's Monday, and I'm feeling a bit lazy- so I'm gonna regurgitate some stuff that other bloggers posted today for ya:
Heather @ I Am Fuel, You Are Friends posted some really great Damien Rice tracks over the weekend, and I highly recommend you listen to those first, then check out her Monday Music Roundup
It turns out Stereogum was hacked, but hte message posted was a fake.
Derek of Indie Blog Heaven posted an article about Tthe Streets' endeavor to make the longest video in history.
iGIF really likes the new Ratatat. I listened to it, and dind't quite get as into as Connor, but I'll give it another chance.
The Late Greats posted a great live set from Alexi Murdoch, who's song Orange Sky has been used in more television, film and adverts that I care to count, and I still like it.
