Atlantis Report :: Peter Searcy

Peter SearcyAnother artist I was able to enjoy this weekend was Peter Searcy and his band. Peter claims Louisville, Kentucky as home- just a hop and skip from my hometown in Indiana, and used to front a band called Squirrel Bait in high school. My blog is called Squirrel Food. Coincidence? Maybe. Anyway, Searcy's blend of pop-rock is just the way I like it, with great modlies, energy and soul. Oh, and he plays a cello with nekkid chicks on it too. Sorry, the paintings on the cello are secondary to the sounds he makes on it. Actually, I think singing while playing cello is probably a lot tougher than singing and playing guitar- and he's good at both.
