I've been trying to catch some of the new fall television shows this week, but there are just so many of them, it's impossible. I'm sure that after a couple weeks, I'll be sick of most of them, and will stop watching. For now, however, my brain is bein saturated with ads from Target and Old Navy- Constantly bombarded with the warm-fuzzy images backed by commercial use of new music. One such case is Ingrid Michaelson (who leads off the mixtape this week)- who is the singer/songwriter behind Old Navy's recent spot for their newest sweater line. It caught my ear, and million sof others as well. Michaelson is the #1 unsigned artist on mysapce this week. Another newbie (to me), Adele, got pegged by both Zane Lowe and Jo Whiley in recent weeks. I think her track sounds suspiciously like Sia's Breathe, but it's still a solid track. I'm really diggin' Sean Na Na this week as well- check out their myspace for more. There's all kinds of other great new music on this week's mix, but I'm short on time, so just take my word for it: it's good. Download, listen, comment, have fun!
