I’ve been pretty much obsessed with Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglova’s project The Swell Season since watching Once back in November. I recently stumbled across this track taken from
“a Podcast interview from www.indie-eye.it with Glen Hansard about the album “The Swell Season” recorded with Markéta Irglova. During the podcast Glen performs the track “Just Walk Away” which was not released on the album.”

The Flashbulb, a classical/jazz guitarist and active file trader recently found that iTunes was selling his music through their online store, yet he wasn’t seeing a cent from those sales. Outraged at Apple’s piracy, he opted to post his own music on P2P networks for download. TorrentFreak.com has an interesting interview with the artist, also known as Benn Jordan. Jordan has also posted about his story on his blog on his site, www.bennjordan.com. There, he says:
“My quest isn’t about bashing Apple, it is about exploring and testing the music industry in an attempt to find a place where both the artists and listeners are happy.”
I’d offer an mp3, but that sould seem silly, considering the album is available through links on his site. Alternately, listen to his stuff on myspace.
