Friday Mixtape Volume 231

Friday Mixtape Volume 231So, the football tourny last weekend was a helluva lot of fun, but also took it’s toll. I’m not sure if it was the allergen minefield that is the Georgia Soccer Park, the multiple rotations of playing and drinking, or the final night of celebrating our grand victory over all the other teams, but I’ve felt like utter crap all week long. I’m also trying to get through a couple of new album reviews this week. Anyway, there were some pretty cool tracks delivered to my inbox this week- my favorite is the new Streets though. A friend pointed out the Leaves to me this week, and the similarities in sound and style to Coldplay are striking, I just find them less annoying. Anyway, the album’s been around for a minute or three years, but it’s new to me, and maybe new to you as well. Oh, and I know the DRH is not “new” music, but something else reminded me of how much I liked the song, so I thought I’d include it, okay? Listen to the rest, enjoy, leave comments, and have a great weekend.
