Asthmatic Kitty and Microcinema are challenging listeners to make a video for one of three Rafter tracks from now (well, Wednesday really) through November 15th. Just download one of the tracks from the site, make your video, and upload it to a special YouTube group. Then, a panel of celebrity judges, including Dan Deacon and Adrian Grenier will select the winners to be announced on December 1.

Music blogger Kevin “Skwerl” Cogill was arrested Wednesday by the FBI for his part in leaking several nearly-completed tracks from the never-gonna-be-completed Guns and Roses album Chinese Democracy. After being taken in the early morning raid, Cogill was released on $10,000 bond with the judge noting that Cogill should have been issued a summons, and not arrested by 5 members of the FBI. The overkill, it seems, was to make a very public point.
