Pollstar recently published and interesting list of the top-grossing north American tours for 2009 thus far. Topping the list: Britney Spears, followed by Fleetwood Mac, Elton John & Billy Joel,  Eagles and Celine Dion round out the top five. So much for north American music taste. Worldwide, BritBrit was topped by AC/DC and Tina Turner. The total gross of the top 100 tours is greater than the GDP of Burundi, and more people went to see “So You Think You Can Dance” live than James Taylor. Get the full scoop at Pollstar.
