While it may be January, I’ve been out driving around with the top down already! Sixty-two degrees here in Atlanta today, and while I’m certain it won’t last, it’s nice to have the sun on my face and the wind in my hair again. To think that just last week, we were having a snow day- hello global warming!

Well, it appears that I’ve survived the “great blizzard of 2010″ here in Georgia- that is to say, I drove to work and back, and didn’t end up in a ditch or wrapped around a pole like anyone from around here that’s never dealt with snow or ice before. I’ll concede this: there was a good sheet of ice on the road by my place this morning, but not such that I didn’t easily navigate my way around the mess of vehicles stuck on the icy slope… and I’m rear-wheel drive. Anyhow, whilst the rest of the Atlanta metro area stayed home, I toughed it out in the office. I’m hopeful that the snow is done, and we can all get back to our lives. As for the mixtape, I’ve got another eclectic mix of tracks for you! As it usually does, the new year is bringing loads of new tracks for our listening pleasure.
