Music by Folds, Lyric by Hornby. Seems like an interesting combo, but this preview from the Sydney Morning Herald isn’t convincing me. Listen here

Ben Folds Expands the Way To Normal
Ben Folds has expanded Way To Normal into a 2-disc set, which he is giving awayto current members of his fan club, and anyone who signs up by Feb. 15th (tomorrow, last minute, I know).
Way To Normal: Stems and Seeds is a re-mix, remastered, re-leveling version of the album that was intentionally compressed for maximum volume. The site describes the set:
And so we have “Way To Normal: Stems and Seeds” – two disks. One disk is a remix, remaster, re-sequence of “Way To Normal” along with the now legendary (in our own minds) ‘fake’ tracks, the Japanese version of “Hiroshima”, the Conan Rehearsal of “You Don’t Know Me” and the Piano Orchestra version of “Cologne” – a total of 20 tracks.
Sign up for The Poeple’s Front of Judea (the fanclub) for $30 to get the set, if you’re not already a member, which a fan who wants the remastered version should be anyhow.
New Ben Folds Songs
Stereogum posted some great videos from the Bonaroo festival performance by Ben Folds playing some new material off a forthcoming album. The videos are quality, and sound seems like it’s off the boards. You can see more at Stereogum.
